The NASA Shared Services Center, located at the Stennis Space Center in Hancock County, Mississippi is designed to efficiently consolidate transactional and administrative activities that were previously performed at multiple sites across the country.   The 135,000-square foot building serves as the central administrative headquarters for the entire NASA program.  The design includes an interior atrium that serves as the central lobby and is flanked by exterior atria that allow a natural source of light to penetrate into the building, and also provide exterior views to the core of the building.  The project is LEED Silver certified and adheres to the strict set of energy and water saving criteria set by the U.S. Green Building Council.  Our firm served as the State of Mississippi’s representative on this design-build project.
