Chastang-Fournier School is a premier education facility designed for students in grades Pre-K through 8th for the Mobile County Public School System.  Due to its high visibility along I-65, the school serves as a flagship building that represents the importance of education in the community.  The 94,000 square foot facility includes:  27 General Classrooms; a large Media Center with an adjacent Reading Room; an Art Classroom; Music/Vocal/Dance Classroom; Science Laboratories; a 400-seat Gymnasium; Cafeteria; and an Administrative Suite located near the main entrance.  The school also incorporates a Tornado Shelter that has enough capacity for the entire school.  Designed in association with NHB Architects.
